Issuance, Inc., a marketing platform for digital securities issuers and investors, announced its marketing agreement with BlockEstate, a tokenized real estate fund that uses analytics and big data to engineer returns for investors in the real estate market. The agreement follows Issuance Inc.’s prior agreement with OpenFinance Network, the first security token trading platform to be regulated out of the United States.
Coupling Digital Securities With Tokenized Real Estate
As part of the agreement, Issuance will grant BlockEstate with exposure to varying market participants in the digital securities industry within its network. The network is made up of VCs, crypto hedge funds and family offices active in the investment of digital securities.
Darren Marble, the CEO of Issuance views the partnership with BlockEstate as honorable, given that BlockEstate, through its tokenized equity for the real estate market, is paving the way for a new asset class.
The CEO said:
We are excited to partner with and serve as a strategic marketing advisor to BlockEstate, one of the world’s first companies to provide investors access to the US real estate market through tokenized equity. Tokenized real estate funds are an exciting new asset class, and we are honored that BlockEstate has chosen to partner with Issuance on their fundraising initiative.
The Tokenized Real Estate Fund Model
BlockEstate made its debut at the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto in August. The tokenized real estate fund has also made recent announcements of its two other partnerships with other companies that deal in tokenization services.
The first partnership is with Polymath Network, a securities token platform which developed the ST-20 open standard, an enforcer of trading restrictions on tokens.
The second partnership comes from CoinList’s ComplyAPI, a compliance as a service company that empowers digital asset companies and networks to produce compliant token sales. ComplyAPI operates as BlockEstate’s investor funding portal.
BlockEstate has pioneered the tokenized real estate fund model, having raised over $650 million in its combined property management and development experience.
This tokenized fund model has a unique advantage over a single fractionalized property, in that it distributes risk among multiple real estate assets. BlockEstate is set to be one of the first ST-20 regulatory compliant digital securities issuers.
Steven Skinner, the Co-Founder of BlockEstate is pleased at the investor education and outreach opportunities the company will gain through its partnership with Issuance.
The Co-Founder said:
BlockEstate is creating easier access to the lucrative US Real Estate market with unique tax saving benefits. We are very excited to be partnered with Issuance for investor education and outreach for our future private fund offering.
