Blockchain Shift, a conference happening in Miami, invites students to join their free of charge essay, according to a press release published via NetworkNewsWire September 26.
Aiming to raise awareness and educate the world on the power of blockchain technology, Blockchain Shift welcomes a diverse set of distinguished thought leaders and experts. The event will reportedly bring everyone together from attorneys, bankers, blockchain startups working on tokenizing real assets, blockchain-powered enterprises, government officials, institutional investors, to artists, broker-dealers, professors, regulators, and students.
In order to win the $10,000 cash prize, participants have sit through each panel, wear business attire, and summarize in the essay submitted everything they’ve learned from each of the panels they’ve listened to. The students are then required to submit their written essays within two weeks after the conclusion of the conference, to be personally reviewed by Blockchain Shift Founder Dan Viola. To get the best chance at winning, the essays should be at least five pages long, according to the release.
The organizers of the conference also invite professors of major universities to attend. They also instruct interested participants to email [email protected] with a message describing their desire to enter the contest. While the the entrance fee for the conference would be free from charge for students, discounted ticket prices are available for those in the academic field wanting to engage in the 2-day conference happening in October 11-12, 2018. Blockchain Shift is expecting 3,000 attendees, 500 investors, 160 speakers, and 140 sponsors.
