DigiFinex ranks within the top 20 crypto exchanges in the world, with their team members having crucial experience in both finance and in technical matters as well, with members of the core team coming from firms such as Baidu, HP, Tencent, and Xunlei as well as reputable banks.
Before co-founding DigiFinex, Shek worked with Baidu for more than two years, starting as a Director of Marketing and Business Development before becoming the Deputy General Manager responsible for business development and government partnerships.
Shek also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master’s degree in International Finance from New York University.
Katsuya Konno — Quoine CFO
Katsuya Konno is the CFO of Quoine, the only licensed global cryptocurrency exchange platform based in Japan. Before taking on his role with the firm, Konno worked with the SoftBank Group for almost eight years, with stints in venture investments, corporate financing and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
He played a crucial role in numerous venture investments during that time amounting to over $60 Million. Konno participated in the acquisitions of US mobile carrier Sprint and global distributor of mobile devices Brightstar, as well as investments in the largest e-commerce platform in India and in South Korea, Snapdeal and Coupang
Stanley Diao — Senior Investment Professional at DFJ Dragon Fund
Stanley Diao is a Senior Investment Professional at DFJ Dragon Fund, a fund initiated by Tim Draper. DFJ was formed from the efforts of Tim Draper and his former colleague, John Fisher.
The fund has invested in innovative companies such as Skype, Hotmail, and Baidu. The firm has also backed crypto projects such as the Sentinel Protocol, Telegram, and Aelf.
