The crypto markets have evened itself out in its three-day performance. After a recovering a bit on Thursday, the top ten cryptocurrencies slightly declined by one to three percent on Saturday, June 16.
Bitcoin, having a rough ride in the past week from $7,623 on June 10 down to $6,267 on June 13 has recovered a bit. For its 24-hour performance, BTC, trading at $6,530 at press time, is down one-half percent.
Ethereum (ETH), trading at approximately $500 at press time, is faring similarly at one percent deficit.
EOS, whose Mainnet today suffered a “freeze” as a precaution against some suspected attacks, lost three percent in the last 24 hours. Trading at 10.72, it is the most impacted coin among the top ten cryptocurrencies.
On the other hand, some coins are gaining headway.
Ethereum Classic (ETC) is trading at around $14.50, up by four percent in its 24-hour performance.
The 52nd-ranked altcoin by market cap, Basic Attention Token (BAT), smiles with a 2.8 percent spread trading at $0.26. The coin is a project of Brave, a firm established by Mozilla ex-CEO Brendan Eich.
In general, crypto markets are down by approximately $63B this week. The total market cap has currently stayed low at $277B according to Coinmarketcap.
