Retired basketball icon Dennis Rodman might be going to Singapore for the upcoming meeting between U.S. president Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, and he just might get PotCoin’s help to get there.
Rodman, who has promoted PotCoin in the past, is reportedly thinking about a visit to Singapore. Rodman has visited North Korea several times before, and a trip to Singapore for the summit would provide a celebrity twist to what could be a major geopolitical milestone.
A Washington Post news report said that Rodman was in discussions with PotCoin to get backing for the trip. Shawn Perez, the spokesman for PotCoin said that Rodman was on a “peace mission”.
Perez continued that:
“The PotCoin team as a community has been incredibly supportive of Rodman’s peace mission from the beginning. We’re thrilled to see how the political climate has improved between North Korea and the U.S. since he became involved.”
Chris Volo, Rodman’s representative, said that details of the trip were still being ironed out. Perez likewise did not provide any specifics.
It is still unclear whether Rodman will attend the summit or will only be in Singapore during the Event. The US department already stated that Rodman is not a representative of the United States government.
