Computer hardware manufacturing titan Asus has just debuted a product, one specifically targetted at cryptocurrency miners.
Meet the H370 Mining Master. A follow-up to last year’s B250 Mining Expert, ASUS claims that this time around, they have “redefined the formula for a second generation” for crypto-related hardware. The H370 is a beast of a motherboard, with the ability to support a total of twenty graphics processing units (GPUs).
As of now, Asus has not released full details on pricing and release date. ASUS did indicate that the new motherboard should be out by the third quarter of this year. The firm is planning to show off the H370 during the Computex 2018 event in Taiwan next week.
Other notable features the H370 will have, include a built-in monitoring system to keep track of the status of the GPUs attached to it.
ASUS said of their new product:
“Less time maintaining your machine means more time mining with it, which is why the H370 Mining Master includes a suite of diagnostic features designed to make your platform easier to manage,”
Asus isn’t the only hardware specialist getting into the crypto mining game. ASRock is starting to produce similar products and GPU manufacturers such as AMD and NVidia have seen their profits boosted by demand from crypto miners.
